Mike earned his BA at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, graduating with the top of his class, Magna Cum Laude.  Prior to creating Redwood Financial Strategies, Mike was a successful Managing/Supervising Principal and Financial Advisor with a few large broker/dealers.

Mike has been recognized for his achievements with many industry awards over the years including GAMA’s Gold Frontline leader award, MDRT (Million Dollar Roundtable), and Sales Manager of the Year.

One particular award that stands out for Mike is his Community Service Award he earned for a charity he has a strong passion for helping, Scherrer Cares Buddy Bench.

Mike is an active outdoorsman and sportsman.  Going up north, bow hunting, hiking, traveling and spending time with family are at the top of his list!  Mike, his wife Mindy, children Hayden & Cole, and dogs Molly & Cooper reside in Hartland, WI.
